Articulation

Reference SL

The Reference SL is a fully-adjustable arcon Slavicek Articulator. Unlike other articulator brands, the articulator was not designed with a condyle ball but with an axis according to the natural TMJ concept of hinge-axis. The axis slide on individual adjustable and exchangeable sagittal and transversal inserts, being utmost close in movement simulation to natural jaw border-movement behaviors.

Ideal for the every-day patient: total prostheses, partial prostheses, implants, full-mouth rehabilitation, functional occlusal diagnoses, initial therapy, orthodontics, surgery.

Modell-mounting:
  • Magnet retention in the base of the articulator
  • Mounting blocks in different heights and inclinations, to avoid errors caused by gypsum expansion
  • Direct and indirect maxillary cast mounting using anatomic face-bow system
  • Indirect mounting of maxillary cast relative to the true hinge-axis and individually selected face-bow plane
  •

For the use in occlusal design (wax-up):

  • Pre-manufactured incisal tables (flat, 30, 40, 55 deg)
  • Individual incisal guidance device with double pin technology
  • Sequence incisal table (The Slavicek concept)
Movement simulation (condylar housing settings):
  • Fully adjustable due to exchangeable SCI and TCI elements (program set SL)
  • SCI from 20 to 60 deg
  • TCI from -10 to 20 deg
  • Protrusion stops in 1mm steps (1-5, add. 0,5 and 1,5 available)

For the use in instrumental occlusal diagnostics:

  • Convertible into Condyle Position Measure (A-CPM, E-CPM)
  • Anterior tooth shaper
  • Compensation curve measurement and design using Curve of Spee Analyzer
  • Occlusal plane measurement table

Synchronization / Adjustment / Calibration:

  • Easy to use adjustment and calibration system, to be applied by hand without the need for send-in or third-party help.

Reference LF

This semi-adjustable non-arcon type articulator was designed for the daily application in the dental laboratory. In combination with the Reference SL articulator, Gamma offers a unique and comprehensive articulator system capable of being used in practical diagnoses and laboratory work.

Without loss of precision, dental casts can be exchanged between the articulators. Articulators are synchronized with the same calibration key.

The stability in „centric“ (RP) is one of the main features of the LF instrument.

Modell mounting system:

Mounting System

Individually selectable and reusable distance blocks in 3 sizes, straight and slanted. In combination with the red mounting plates the system is easy to use and highly precise. Errors in the mounting position caused by plaster expansion can be minimized.

The distance blocks are held in the articulator through magnetic retention. The retaining magnet is built into the articulator, so that the full height of the unit can be utilized, while maintaining even traction.

This minimizes the disturbing influences of cast expansion during the hardening process. Different heights and slopes allow for optimal use.

The red mounting plates are screwed, removable, into the distance blocks. If the block is unscrewed from the model, it leaves a print in the cast, so that an identical block can be screwed in, if repositioning is necessary. During active treatment, the distance block should not be unscrewed.

Reflitex

To synchronize GAMMA Reference and Artex® articulator system for easy model transfer.

Adesso®

For easy model transfer between different articulator brands, for example, from Gamma Reference to Artex®, SAM®, etc.

Virtual Articulator CADIAS 3D

„The digital patient “

Scanned and digitally articulated dental casts can be loaded into this innovative 3D software. It is not a pure copy of analog technology and instruments into the computer environment, but a consistent use of the advanced technology in the field of functional occlusal dentistry.

Virtual articulation (in dynamics and static):
True patient individual movement patterns are loaded from the CADIAX© system. Thus, the most accurate adjustment of the virtual articulator’s condylar elements can be achieved. The incisal table can be adjusted – without any mechanic limitations – in all directions of movement and guidance. The movement simulation of the mandible cast can be free, with contact or under controlled guidance of the incisal table.

Occlusal measurements and analysis:
occlusal planes in the upper and lower jaw including the symmetry of the planes, RCI (relative condyle inclination), morphologic and true guidances in occlusion, compensation curves, quality of intercuspation, arch form analysis, etc.

Values are presented in well-organized numeric tables, but also in graphics directly on the cast in the virtual articulator

Occlusal protocol (static):
evaluation of the occlusal contact sequence in detail as a consequence of dynamic closing movement of dentition into maximum intercuspation.

Occlusal protocol (dynamic):
calculation and display of movement tracks on the occlusal surfaces, relative to the entire dental arch, a segment or a single tooth. Various possibilities of superimpositions. Application of the true movement patterns (from the jaw-tracking device, condylograph) including functional movements like bruxing, speech, chewing, etc.

Condyle Position Measure (automated CPM):
The software compares casts of the lower jaw in various special positions (for example RP vs. ICP) and calculates the displacement of the hinge-axis relative to these positions.
